B12 injections

The simplest place to start.

Injection Prescription only — a provider decides

B12 supports energy metabolism and nerve function. Deficiency is common and measurable on a standard panel.

Tired in a way that sleep doesn't fix.

Foggy. Flat. Occasionally pins and needles you can't account for.

The part that gets missed

This one is actually measurable.

Unlike much of what gets sold for fatigue, B12 status can be tested, and deficiency has a defined clinical picture. If you're low, that's a finding. If you're not, that's worth knowing too — before you spend a year treating the wrong thing.

In plain language

What B12 actually is.

Vitamin B12 is required to make red blood cells and to maintain the myelin sheath around your nerves. Your body cannot manufacture it — it has to come from diet or supplementation.

Absorbing it from food is a multi-step process needing stomach acid and a protein called intrinsic factor. Age, some medications and several conditions interfere with those steps.

Injection bypasses absorption entirely and delivers it straight to the bloodstream — which is the point of this form.

Why patients choose it

What you get with b12 injections.

Energy metabolism

B12 is required to convert food into usable energy.

Focus

Low B12 is a recognised contributor to brain fog.

Measurable

B12 status shows up on a standard blood panel.

Why this time is different

Measured first. Then decided.

Why it didn't work before

B12 is sold as a general energy product to people who were never tested and were never low.

Almost everyone we see has been through the same loop: they described how they felt, someone treated the description, and nobody measured anything. When it didn't work, it looked like the treatment failed. Usually the treatment was never aimed at anything specific.

How this works instead

It's testable, so test. A provider can check your level and tell you honestly whether this is your answer.

So the order is reversed here. Bloodwork first, where it's warranted. A licensed provider in your state reads your numbers alongside your history and decides what — if anything — is appropriate. Then it gets measured again, and the plan moves when your numbers move.

Side by side

How this compares with the alternatives.

How YouthFuel compares with a typical online clinic and a primary care visit
YouthFuel Typical online clinic Primary care visit
Bloodwork before a hormone prescription Yes Sometimes Yes
Price published before you start Yes No No
Re-tested and adjusted every quarter Yes Sometimes Sometimes
Licensed provider in your state reviews it Yes Yes Yes
No insurance, no prior authorization Yes Yes No
Delivered to your door Yes Yes No
Cancel online, without a phone call Yes Sometimes No

“Typical online clinic” and “primary care visit” describe common patterns, not any specific provider. Your own experience of either may differ.

Day to day

How you actually take it.

A small intramuscular or subcutaneous injection on the schedule your provider sets.

  • Frequency depends on whether you're correcting a deficiency or maintaining a level.
  • Bright colour in your urine afterwards is normal and harmless — it's the vitamin clearing.
  • Can be added to an existing plan without a separate visit.

No surprises

What you're not charged for.

Lab work, where a provider requires it, is billed separately and priced before you order.

Fair questions

About b12 injections.

How is this different from getting b12 injections somewhere else?
It's testable, so test. A provider can check your level and tell you honestly whether this is your answer. Two things most places won't do: we don't prescribe hormones without bloodwork, and the price is published on this page rather than revealed after you've handed over your details. You're not charged until a licensed provider has reviewed your assessment and approved a plan.
Do I need lab work?
Often, yes — your provider decides based on your assessment. If labs are needed we send an order and nearby draw locations, and lab work is billed separately from your plan.
Do you take insurance?
No. YouthFuel is cash-pay, which is what keeps pricing transparent and predictable. Many plans are eligible for HSA and FSA reimbursement.
What happens after I submit my assessment?
A provider licensed in your state reviews it, usually within one business day. If labs are needed we send an order and nearby draw locations. You are not charged until a provider approves a plan for you.

Start with your numbers.

The assessment takes about ten minutes. A licensed provider decides what's appropriate — and whether anything is.
